Emergenza terremoto in Abruzzo
Stiamo cercando di raccogliere idee per valutare se nel nostro ambito si può fare qualcosa di – anche piccolo ma concreto – a favore delle persone e della regione così duramente colpita da questa tragedia.

Aldo, I extend my sympathies as well to the people of the region. There are many mass notification services available that specialize in emergency notification of friends and families in the event of natural disasters.
I have worked with one in particular, 3N (National Notification Network). 3N is a SaaS based service that allows a UI for setup, or bulk upload of contacts and respective info, the notifications can be sent to a variety of devices; email, SMS, etc. They are setup for large on demand usage and currently have existing contracts with many local, state and US & Canada Federal governments. A tragic loss for Italy Aldo. my deepest sympathies for the people of this region.
When a few of us got together to supply small comfort to survivors of Beslan, there were none of the social networks we know today. We collated an inventory of victim’s families with a Yahoo groups database such that P2P relationships could be established.
This isn’t direct disaster relief of course, just the hand of friendship.
We were able to fund social events using a ATM card payment service which put trust in a stranger whose card was credited by funds from other supporters.
From what I read of a competitor’ s advertising for a meeting organiser product, their product was used to orchestrate tent accomodation for Katrine survivors. You are welcome to a free copy of ours, if it suits the purpose as well.

Roma ,6 apr. – (Adnkronos) – Gli operatori di telefonia mobile Tim, Vodafone, Wind e 3 Italia, d’intesa con il Dipartimento della Protezione Civile, hanno attivato la numerazione solidale 48580 per raccogliere fondi a favore della popolazione dell’Abruzzo gravemente colpita dal terremoto. Ogni Sms inviato contribuira’ con 1 euro, che sara’ interamente devoluto al Dipartimento della Protezione Civile per il soccorso e l’assistenza. Il sistema sara’ operativo dalle ore 23 di stasera. Dalle ore 9 di domani, sara’ possibile donare 2 euro attraverso chiamata da rete fissa di Telecom Italia, utilizzando lo stesso numero: 48580. Il Dipartimento della Protezione Civile fornira’ tutte le indicazioni sull’utilizzo dei fondi raccolti

Non sono un espertto non saprei quali suggerimenti dare
Suggerirei di contattare TIM, Vodafone e multinazionali di telefonia che concedano centesimi gratis in raccolta su nuovi contratti o sulle ricariche di prepagate telefonia a favore delle vittime e dei Comuni colpiti dal terremoto…solo una idea non saprei chi contattare perosnalemtne..
