THE PROJECT :


The aim of the project called “ISF for ” is to provide help to the people living in the area hit by the terrible earthquake that took place in the April of 2009 in .

At the end of April we installed a computer room with computers, printer, scanner and internet access in San Panfilo school, situated in one of the 5 hamlets forming the small village of Ocre, situated to the south of L’Aquila. We were helped by the vice-major and by Italian civil defence.

We also realized a public internet access point in San Panfilo’s canteen and another one in Cavalletto emergency centre.

ISF is still working to install more computers and hardware in the tent city where most of the people hit by the earthquake are still living.

A few days after the earthquake ISF set up a working group whose task was to deal with the situation in the area. If you want to forward us a requests for help or to contact the persons in charge, please compile the form you can find in our website.
