The project involves the “Fondazione di Religione Opera San Francesco Saverio CUAMM” of Padua as proponent and lead, in partnership with the Associação Moçambicana da Diabete and with the World Diabetes Foundation.

Targets are the improvement of the living conditions of the patient suffering from chronic non-communicable disease and support to prevention and care policies.

ISF’s role is the technical assistance in the introduction of new data collection tools on these diseases and in the training of the staff of the four hospitals involved in the project.

The first ISF mission was held in 2018 at the Quelimane Central Hospital (HCQ) to analyze the hardware and software currently in use. The following activities will aim to harmonize data collection at national level.
