Il progetto consiste nella realizzazione di un corso di informatica presso la Comunità Terapeutica Teseo di Conversano (BA).

La comunità si occupa principalmente del percorso riabilitativo per persone con problemi di dipendenze. All’interno di questo percorso, come attività settimanaleper tutti gli ospiti, è stato inserito anche l’apprendimento e l’utilizzo delle risorse informatiche.

Presso la sede della comunità, alcuni volontari della sezione Puglia di Informatici Senza Frontiere hanno creato un laboratorio con 7 postazioni pc in rete collegate ad Internet.

Il corso, incominciato a marzo 2010, ha durata annuale. Ogni sabato mattina, un gruppo di volontari dell’associazione si recano presso la Comunità per lavorare insieme a tutti gli ospiti.

Il programma prevede l’insegnamento dell’utilizzo di Internet, delle applicazioni di scrittura di documenti, utilizzo della mail, uso dei social network, nonché di giochi e applicazioni diverse.

Vengono affrontati anche moduli di grafica per la creazione di volantini e brochures, e alcuni fondamenti di Joomla per l’aggiornamento del sito della comunità.

Inoltre, è stato iniziato un corso di preparazione all’esame per il primo modulo della patente ECDL.

Il corso è molto partecipato, e ha riscosso un ottimo successo di entusiasmo e coinvolgimento da parte degli ospiti.

THE PROJECT :

The aim of this project is the realization of a computer course for the Comunità Terapeutica Teseo, a drug rehabilitation centre in Coversano (Bari). A training course to learn how to use IT resources has been introduced among the weekly activities of the centre and a few volunteers of ISF-Puglia have set up a lab with a network of 7 PCs connected to the internet.

This course, started in March 2009, is a one-year course held on Saturdays by a group of volunteers who work together with the guests of the centre.

The volunteers teach the guests how to use the internet, word-processing applications, email programs, social networks, games and other software.

This course also involves a few computer graphics teaching modules for the creation of leaflets and brochures, and some training on the fundamentals of Joomla so as to enable the guests to update themselves the centre’s website.

A course preparing for the first level of the ECDL exam has been organized – it is particularly successful and it is followed by a lot of people in the centre.
